Fate isn’t really short on amazing couples (even Shirou’s two other romances are great), but these two, man. It’s impossible to articulate why I love these two so much because literally everything about them is perfect. Sakura is the only person in the world who got Shirou to finally abandon his poisonous ideals and live a normal life with people he loves. And Shirou is the only person who lets Sakura forget what she has gone through, even if it’s only for the short time she spends at his house every morning.
And, well… them being together leads to the happiest ending. In HF True the Emiya household basically has an entire family staying in it, with Taiga, Shirou, Rider, Rin and Sakura. Shirou and Sakura went through a lot of pain and suffering in their lives, but because they had each other they were both able to obtain that happiness of being in a house full of love.
